Infinite Fidget & Sensory Ball

Eve is offering you this one-off crocheted infinite fidget and sensory toy from her collection.

The ball is crocheted around a central ‘magic ring'. You can pull, push, and thread the entire ball through itself, using the central ring without ever reaching the end. It just keeps recirculating on and on and on… it’s the ultimate fidget item!

I can’t overstate how addictive this ball is and is uniquely therapeutic.

Eve has made a smaller one for herself, that we use as a game. Timing each other to see who can tread the entire ball through itself. It's great fun. To add some complexity we also try to do it behind our backs which is a lot harder!

Tip: use a safety pin or tie a small piece of yarn into the ball at some point. Use that piece of yarn as your marker to know when you have reached 'the end!'

Being crochet in the pattern it is, the ball is both soft and firm. The ball feels cosy and reassuring to hold. Using it to self-calm or ‘stim' is very relaxing and moreish.

Playing catch with it is also great fun and safe. Being soft you can catch it easily without risk of injury or damage. Being soft it doesn’t hurt if dropped onto your feet and makes no sound on landing.

This is an amazing and unique piece of crochet. Eve is very proud of it!
